About Me

My name is Vik Subramaniam and I am an accountant by profession with an MBA in human resource management. Currently I work as a senior manager at HSS Intesys Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. I also lecture part time on Basic Computing Principles, Computerised Accounting and IT Project Management at undergraduate level. I am a member of the Project Management Institute (US) and a member of the Association of Advancement of Cost Engineering (US).

My main professional interests are project management, human resource management, electronic document management and business development.

I have a very strong interest in science fiction, both reading and movies. I have an undying passion for 'Star Trek' - all the manifestations - along with the other important events of the century like the 'Star Wars' trilogy and '2001:A Space Odyssey'. Right now Star Wars : Episode I is really my main movie.

As for cars I have a place close to my heart for Italian cars, although at present I own a Citroen ZX 2.0, but prior to this I drove an Alfa Romeo Alfetta 2.0L and a FIAT Mirafiori 1600/CL. Someday soon I hope to upgrade to the Alfa 164 V6 3.0 as it is my current dream car.
